Importance of Mental Health

Being that I aspiire to become a clinical psychologist, mental health is extremely immportant to me. As somebody who wants to help others combat through difficult times, I need to make sure that I am okay too. Prioritizing my mental health and personal growth has become huge for me in this past year, as 2020 has found numerous ways to knock us down. However, with time and patience, I am sure that I will be able to reach this goal.

Mental Health Affirmations I use

    • You’re allowed to be upset. You’re allowed to be angry. You know you deserve better. That doesn’t mean it’s healthy to drown in your negative emotions, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to hurt people, but you’re allowed to feel.
    • You’re allowed to rest. You’re allowed to fall behind. You’re allowed to be human.
    • You can't see people's mental health. Be kind always.
